Turks and Caicos are famous for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. They are postcard perfect white sand beaches and turquoise waters that can be the scenario for any of your dreams.



This British territory is a combination of eight main islands and more than thirty inhabited islets and cays.

Getting there

By Air

There are practically no flights from other countries but the United States. Miami is great place to start. There are flights from there to the Turks and Caicos.

By Cruise

Just a few cruise lines have the Turks and Caicos in their Eastern Caribbean Cruises itineraries. Please note that visiting on a cruise will give you just a taste of the islands. This paradise should be given at least a week to enjoy its marvelous beaches.

By yacht

Many yachts of all sizes arrive on the islands on their Sailing Vacations, from all over the world and mainly from the United States and the Caribbean.

Getting around

Car Rental

Only on Provo, nickname for Providenciales, can you rent cars from some of the major companies. Not on the other islands.

Buses

• The same as above, only on Provo they have a few routes as well as charter buses. Providenciales is the most visited of the islands, so the options are more for all kind of services.

Bikes or Scooters

Again, only in Provo can you find rental companies of bikes and scooters. This way you can explore the island on your own at your own pace.



Island hopping

Small airplanes and chartered yachts are the only way to go from island to islands. Most resorts will have a solution on how to get to their facilities

Beaches on the Turks and Caicos

• This string of islands, boast some of the most beautiful beaches on the Planet. They are all of white powdered sands; the waters are crystal clear blue and totally unspoiled. These exotic beaches offer this sensation of seclusion and privacy. There are many little cays along the shores offer such privacy from other beach visitors that some vacationers use them for nude bathing.

Providenciales - Most of the most spectacular beaches are located in Providenciales, also known as Provo. There are all kind of resorts where to stay. No matter where you stay, you’ll be near a fabulous beach at walking distance. Most of the resorts are located on the north shore, but the shores all over the island are covered by unspoiled white sand.

Grace Bay - This is the beach “par excellence” in Providenciales. It is world renowned for its quality sand and clear waters. It hosts many of the best islands beach resorts.

North Caicos - Here the waters are excellent for Caribbean Snorkeling or Scuba Diving. The beaches are sandy and relaxed like Whitby Beach which is ideal for sunbathing, strolling and just doing nothing. Fore some more action go Horse Stable Beach.

South Caicos - Here at Bell Sound Beach, the waters look like a lagoon. Go a little further south and discover the renowned uninhabited,

Big Ambergris Cay - This beach is the preferred beach of people who know the islands. It is one of the most secluded beaches of the Turks and Caicos.

• East Caicos - On the north side of this island you’ll find an irresistible white beach. This beach is long and virgin.

Grand Turk - This island is known by an array of beaches with exotic views and clean nice spots for picnics.



Governor’s Beach - This long white sand beach is covered with sea shells.

Salt Cay - Has very nice beaches on the north coast.

Big Sand Cay - For some visitors a beach's amenities and attractions are important. For others, it is the seclusion and the chance to waste away the day on the sand that is the best part of the beach. You have many beach choices in Turks and Caicos, and Big Sand Cay may be right on target for you.

Providenciales - the busiest and best known

The islands are diverse and range from a busy tourist center as Providenciales to tranquil and laid back isles like Middle, South and North Caicos. Providenciales is the busiest and best well known, hosting many Caribbean Resorts, restaurants and many attractions.

Grand Turk

Grand Turk, a port of call of some Eastern Caribbean Cruises, is like a little Bermuda because to its colonial architecture. Here you can relax the way you hoped for when planning this vacation.
