Cayman Islands Beaches Beaches of Isla Roatan Cozumel Beaches Playa del Carmen Beaches

We are taking a cruise to Georgetown, Grand Cayman; Cozumel, Mexico, Costa Maya, and Honduras.

Can we just walk onto the beach and sun bathe or swim for free?

Hello Linda,

Yes, of course. All the beaches in those islands and the Mayan Riviera are public. Even if a hotel is built on the beach, the access must be kept open to all.

When you arrive on the islands you get to the port and not always are the beaches at walking distance. So you may take a bus or a taxi and enjoy the beach.

In Grand Cayman Island
go to Seven Mile Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.

In Isla Roatan, Honduras go to Tabyana Beach

In Cozumel go to Playa Mia and so on...

You may also find information on the ship and do no have to buy their shore excursions.

Have a wonderful time

Eddy
