St Lucia Beaches
St Lucia Beaches are different from one another. Some have gray sand, some black sand and some white powdered sand. But one thing is common to them. They are exotic beaches surrounded by awe inspiring views of this lovely island. The beaches are also home of many St Lucia Beaches Resorts where you can spend your All Inclusive Vacations.

Here I am describing the Beaches of St Lucia. We have been to St Lucia a few times during the years and every time we like it more. The people are sweet and service oriented and you cannot ask for a better service in the resorts. You’ll find that many beaches offer an array of Caribbean Sports ranging from Caribbean Snorkeling and Scuba Diving to Beach volley ball and Horse Riding. St Lucia Beaches on the Northwest Coast Pigeon Island Pigeon Island is connected to the mainland with a causeway. It is now a recreational area with beaches and picnic areas. Rodney Bay Reduit Beach in this area, is well known for its long stretch of white sandy beach with enough greenery for shade. There are many hotels lined through the beach that provide rental equipment for all kind of Caribbean Sports. Going north you keep seeing just sand and beach until you get to Pigeons Island. This beach is very popular with locals on the weekend. Choc Bay This long stretch of sandy beaches and coconut palm trees is close to Castries, the capital and the major hotels and resorts. This is an ideal beach for families with small children due to its calm waters. Here you can rent all kind of sports equipment. The Gablewood shopping center is located not far from here. Vigie It is a popular beach with locals with great sand an lots of shade. It is located parallel to the airport near Castries. Labrelotte Bay A great beach situated between the Landings Resort and the East Winds Inn.
I would say that this is the perfect Romantic Getaway in St Lucia Beaches. It is bordered by green lush mountains and the beach is bordered by palm trees. There are some deserted beaches there as well as anchorage for Yachts.

East Coast As in many of the islands, the Atlantic Coast is windy and the beaches are rough. I don’t recommend swimming but it is worth the visit for the spectacular views. Some of the beaches are difficult to reach with regular vehicles. You may need a 4-wheel drive. This area is also important for naturists and bird watchers. Donkey Beach It is a unique experience because of the outstanding views. You have to walk from Gros Islet, but the walk if worth it. Anse Louvet You cannot drive to this beach. The walk from Desbarra is about a 3 hour treck. Once you arrive you’ll discover a beautiful secluded beach. Watching the waves hit the cliffs is a show by itself. Here you are surrounded by the La Sorciere Mountains.
