St Kitts on our own

There are four of us going to be in St. Kitts on Oct. 29 (arriving with a Carnival Cruise).

There are no optional excursions with the cruise-line that we want to do that day. We'd like to book with an independent tour operator or strike out on our own to a nearby beach and snorkel.

Not all of us have our own equipment though and would need to rent. We are having difficulty finding any tour operators for this area, and wonder if you could recommend to us an operator/s or any other advice on how we could arrange this on our own.
