St Barth Beaches

St Barth Beaches are exotic, secluded and are ideal for people looking for quiet vacations, elegance and great service.

St Barth or St Barthelemy is part of the French Caribbean Islands.

They are an integral part of the French Republic and locally governed from Guadeloupe.

Here you have the feeling of France all around you. The food, the boutiques, the perfumes and the people.

Getting there

The easiest way to get to St Barthelemy is by flying to St Maarten’s Princess Juliana, where flights arrive from the Caribbean Islands, North America and Europe on a regular basis.

To St Maarten (SXM) you can fly with Delta Airlines, USAIR, Continental Airlines, American Airlines or United Airlines from many cities in North America as Philadelphia PA, Charlotte NC, Atlanta GA, Miami FL, New York NY, Newark, NJ and San Juan PR

From Europe to St Maarten or Guadeloupe, many airlines fly direct. Air France, Corsair, Alitalia and KLM offer regular schedule flights.

From St Maarten Winair, Air Caraibes and St Barth Commuter, make the 10 minutes flight into St Barthelemy (SBH)

From Guadeloupe, Air Caraibes offer a few direct flights to St Barth and some connecting via St Maarten.

Getting to St Barth Beaches by Ferry

Save on your hotel - HotelsCombined.com

My wife didn’t want to fly on those small planes and especially after learning that the airstrip is small, so we took the Ferry from St Maarten.

Now there is a fast and comfortable Ferry between Philipsburg (Sint Maarten) and Gustavia (Saint Barthelemy). They make several round trips trips a day. A few companies providing ferry service to St Barth:

Master Ski Pilou

Weather

Weather is typically tropical, warm and breezy with an occasional shower that lasts for a few minutes.

From July to November is Hurricane Season. Thanks to today's technology we are all advised with enough time if this kind of tropical storm is on the way.

beaches resorts

Many Beaches Resorts like the Eden Rock Hotel

I recommend the following Beaches Resorts in St Barth

Guanahani Hotel and Spa

Guanahani & Spa, St Barts' small luxury resort, drapes gently over the hillcrests of Grand Cul de Sac one of the most important of St Barth Beaches. All 73 rooms and suites are distinctly West Indian style, nestled in 15 acres of lush tropical gardens, each has European comfort, and a private terrace. The accommodations, most with ocean views, are either decorated with traditional style and pastel tones, or with contemporary dark wood pieces and strong colors. 14 suites have a private swimming pool.

Eden Rock Hotel St Barth

Eden Rock – St Barths attempts to set itself apart from typical luxury resorts in the Caribbean by offering impeccable attention to detail, unparalleled levels of service and housekeeping - and a driven commitment to creating a unique holiday spot for the world’s most discriminating travelers.

ER is located on a rocky promontory surrounded by white coral, sandy beaches and a coral reef in St. Jean Bay.

Carl Gustaf Hotel

Nestled on a lush hillside, the Carl Gustaf Hotel is perched above Gustavia, the capital of Saint Barths. This exclusive hotel is just minutes away from one of the island's most protected coves, Shell Beach, and features two cabin cruisers so guests can explore the coastline of this beautiful island. Each of its 14 exquisite suites has spacious rooms, western sunset exposure, private plunge pools and sun terrace.
