The Dominican Republic shares two thirds of the Island of Hispaniola with Haiti. It is the second largest of the Four Greater Antilles, smaller than Cuba and larger than Jamaica and Puerto Rico.

When we lived in Puerto Rico, 45 minutes away from The Republica Dominicana, we used to fly there constantly, sometimes for a couple of days to enjoy the food, the music and the people of this sister Republic.
