Spectacular Jamaica Beaches Great setting for your Jamaica Vacations
Jamaica is the cradle of the All Inclusive Vacations concept, that is now popular everywhere, from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. Jamaica Beaches are many, so I am going to enumerate a few of them, considered the most important. I am dividing them by cities along the coast. Ocho Rios Jamaica Turtle Beach as well as Mallard Beach are tourist oriented with plenty of vendors, cafeterias and lots of food and drinks. There are many fun activities. Many of the hotels are lined along the beaches of Ocho Rios. James Bond Beach This is home to Golden Eye Hotel. It was the previous residence of Ian Fleming the author of the James Bond series. The hotel owns the beach but any non guest is welcome for a small fee of approximately $3.00 USD. There are many water sports and rentals available on this beach, where the movie Dr No was filmed.

Dunn’s River Beach
Here is where the Dunn’s River meets the Caribbean Sea with awe inspiring water falls. Visitors may climb the falls, swim in the little pools or relax on the beach and admire the beauty not far from the waterfall. Many Cruise Lines stop in Ocho Rios, where the Dunn’s Falls are the main attraction for the cruisers, adults and children alike. Negril Seven Mile Beach is a laid back beach with a relaxed and care free environment that includes nude bathing. In the 1960’s it was famous for being a hippie retreat. Now is a real tourist attraction with many Jamaican Resorts. If you visit this beach, expect to see many beach-goers wearing the same suits they wore the day they were born. Many resorts cater to this public by offering nude beaches, pools, hot tubs and bars.

Montego Bay Jamaica Cornwall Beach This beach offers many concessions and water sports. It is great place to enjoy a good time. It offers great swimming, better than many of the other beaches. This beach is recommended for visitors with children. Its waters are calm and offer exceptional bathing. Doctor’s Cave Beach This is Montego Bay's most famous beach. At the beginning of the 1900’s a group of Doctors gathered to bath here. The access to the cave was limited and later destroyed by a hurricane. Years later it is a very popular spot. The waters are crystal blue and come from mineral springs. There are many beach services like showers and food vendors. Boston Bay Beach Just outside of Port Antonio, it is great for surfing and small fishing trips. They have many food stands selling the famous Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork, very traditional Jamaican food. Frenchman's Bay This is real Jamaican Jewel, considered one of the world most beautiful beaches. There is a small charge for the entrance and you can swim, surf, sunbath or simply relax on the shade. Here you'll find stands with Jamaica Food. Blue Lagoon Beach This beach was made famous by Brooke Shields’ movie Blue Lagoon. The waters are dark blue and swimming is great on this beach.
