The tour starts in Puerto Rico Where do we start? Our imaginary tour starts in Puerto Rico, the Island of Enchantment were my family spent 28 years of pure joy. To Puerto Rico you can get from anywhere in the planet. There are flights from Europe, South America and of course from any city in Canada and the continental USA. After all when in Puerto Rico you are in the USA. Let’s visit the rain forest of el Yunque, the beautiful beaches in the west in an area called Porta del Sol, let’s take a tour around the island hop on a ferry and visit the tiny island of Vieques and end up in the cosmopolitan capital city of San Juan with its picturesque Old San Juan. Just driving towards the old city bordering the Atlantic Ocean is an experience. • There are many small and not so small airlines connecting the islands with one another and in the shorter distances you can use the local ferries that run with very appropriate schedules.

Virgin Islands - St Marteen/St Martin • Now we continue our Island Hopping flying to St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands divided into the British Virgin Islands and the US Virgin Islands. They may have two different nationalities, but they all have the same pristine white sand Caribbean Beaches to make you vacation a delight. • We continue our Island Hopping moving in a clockwise direction and reach Dutch St Maarten that together with French St Martin share a small island with two different heritages and one of the friendliest people in the Caribbean. • From St Martin’s capital city of Marigot you will be able to reach on a 20 minute ferry ride the tiny island of Anguilla with more that 30 exotic beaches. • Remember we decided that time is not a problem. So why not spend a few days in St Maarten’s neighbors of St Barthelemy, St Eustatius and Saba. Those are tiny enclaves each one offering its own version of their tourism qualities. St Kitts and Nevis • Now we are in the tiny nation of St Kitts and Nevis with great romantic beaches. Here the charm of Old colonial times is well preserved. Antigua and Barbuda • We continue flying or ferrying to Antigua and Barbuda, two sisters that comprise this small nation. The Coral Reefs here are famous world famous and a paradise for snorkelers and scuba divers.

The French Caribbean Islands • Now, we change nationalities one more time and reach the French Caribbean, well represented by Guadeloupe Island and Martinique Island with its smaller islands.
Dominica - St Lucia - Barbados In between Guadeloupe and Martinique is the English speaking island of Dominica, a heaven for Ecotourism. We arrive in the volcanic island of St Lucia with its landmark of the two Pitons that elevate themselves from the seas to the clouds. St Lucia is full of rainforests and beautiful beaches. Now we have to deviate a little east to reach the easternmost island in the Caribbean, Barbados, the Gem of the Caribbean Sea, like they say in their famous song.

St Vincent and the Grenadines - Trinidad and Tobago • Continue south and visit St Vincent and the Grenadines, a splendid archipelago of small islands with exotic beaches and a laid back atmosphere unique in the Caribbean. • As we approach the South America coast we get to Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidad is businesslike and cosmopolitan while Tobago is all the opposite. Relax, quite and ideal for an Island Honeymoon. Cayman Islands - Roatan Honduras The Mexican Caribbean And a totally separate trip to the Mexican Caribbean visiting Cancun, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen and the Mayan Riviera. Cuba On this Island Hoping I didn’t forget Cuba, the largest of the Caribbean Islands and my place of birth. I am sure that in the future we will be able to promote tourism to the island that Columbus discovered on his first trip and called it “The most beautiful land that human eyes have ever seen” - "Esta es la Tierra mas hermosa que ojos humanos vieron"
