Baseball is King in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic In the Spanish speaking countries of the Caribbean like, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic the King of Caribbean Sports is Baseball. Since I can remember Baseball has been popular in Cuba where I was born and then in Puerto Rico where I spent so many years. When living in Florida Baseball it was as important as in those countries. Some of the greatest Baseball players in the Big Leagues are original from those three countries as Orlando “El Duque” Hernandez from Cuba, Roberto Clemente from Puerto Rico and Sammy Sosa from the Dominican Republic. Once in the Caribbean if the time is right you can enjoy one of these quality games and transport yourself home with a cold beer and a hot dog at hand.
