Caribbean Island Hopping

Soufriere Beach in St Lucia

Soufriere Beach in St Lucia

I am planning a trip this winter to go Island Hopping in the Caribbean (Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados, Grenada, Tobago).

I contacted Liat air and they are no longer offering Explorer packages. Can you please provide relative information on inexpensive alternative travel options.

Dear Silvia,

I will answer like I did to others with the same question. The Caribbean is quite big and you should choose the group of islands considering their location and thus save in air and transportation in general.

Among the islands mentioned in your question the only one out of area is Antigua that is in the extreme northeast corner of the Caribbean Sea.

The others like St Lucia, Grenada, Barbados and St Vincent and the Grenadines are located in the southern Caribbean. Tobago is further south.

There are ferries from Barbados to St Lucia via Grenada and St Vincent. Once in St Vincent you may Island Hop via all the Grenadines to Grenada.

If you have more questions, please feel free to ask.

Regards,

Eddy
