It is a safe beach for children and therefore very attractive for Family Vacationsa. You may also rent Water sports equipment on this beach. It is host to two great resorts The Curtain Bluff and the Carlisle Bay Hotel.

Runaway Bay Beach – Is also located on the northwest coast next to Dickinson Bay. Same as its neighbor it offers beautiful water and sand and some hotels for all amenities. Hotels at this beach are Dove Cove and Runaway Beach Club.

Dickenson Bay Beach – Is a great beach located on very calm waters. It is actually several beaches together and features idyllic coral reefs for perfect Caribbean Snorkeling. Hotels at this beach are Sandals, Rex Halcyon Cove, Siboney and Blue Waters. All Inclusive Resorts abound on Antigua Beaches.

Jolly Beach – This is a quiet relaxed beach on the Leeward side of the islands or the west coast. The waters are shallow and great for Family get-togethers. Hotels on this beach are Jolly Beach Resort, Cocos, and Cocobay.

Pineapple Beach – This exotic beach is nested on a Palm Grove on the eastern coast of Antigua. This beach is great for snorkeling. Caribbean Beach Resorts here are Grand Pineapple Beach Resort and Long Bay Hotel.

Antigua Jolly Beach Resort

Darkwood Beach - Is located on south west coast of Antigua about 5 minutes drive south of Jolly Harbour. This beach is a favorite with locals and tourist for its blue waters, snorkeling and the eternal cooling breeze.

Deep Bay – This is a secluded beach by the Royal Antiguan. It is fantastic for swimming, but surfs can be quite rough in the winter months.

Half Moon Bay – This is perhaps the most beautiful of Antigua Beaches. It is a long stretch of about a mile long (1.6 Km). It's located on the southeastern coast and the Atlantic waters may be rough. That attracts streams of windsurfers that venture beyond the reefs. But the water is protected for snorkeling and family outings.

Long Bay - Is north of Half Moon Bay. Here guests of the Long Bay Hotel and the Pineapple Beach Club are the regular guests at the beach. The shallow waters feature great corals for snorkeling.

Pigeon Point – This beach a few minutes drive from Admiral’s Inn, is a lovely one with calm waters and white fine sands. Snorkelers and swimmers will spend here the best of a beach day.

Johnson’s Point – If you are looking for solitude, go to this beach on the southwestern tip of the island near Jolly Harbour. There are no facilities on this beach but the white sands and calm waters of the Caribbean are worth the visit.

Turner’s Beach – This fine beach of white sands is ideal for a nice rest caressed by the cool breezes. From this beach you can see the volcanic island of Montserrat.
